This free-of-charge training course is designed for professionals across various roles within M&E contractor companies who need to understand how to specify, apply, commission, and service CAHV commercial heating heat pumps.

Course Format: Blended Learning

This course follows a blended learning format, consisting of:

• Mandatory online pre-learning (3–4 hours), to be completed over a 2-week period before the in-person session
• A customised, full-day face-to-face session at our Hatfield (North London) head office, including a commercial HVAC product overview

Important: Completion of the online pre-learning is required to attend the in-person training. The date shown on the website refers to the face-to-face session, so please ensure you allow time to complete the online module in advance.

Certified by the LCL Awards and Ofqual accredited to industry led standards, the LCL Awards Water Regulations Certificate covers the Water Regulations (1999).

Learners who successfully complete the course and hold an industry recognised NVQ qualification in plumbing, may apply to join the Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme (WIAPS) or one of the UK Approved Contractors’ Schemes

It is also a pre-requisite for several renewable technology qualifications including, the Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems (Non-Refrigerant Circuits) (ASHP)
