How Does The Boiler Upgrade Scheme Work?

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is an installer-led scheme. This means that the installer will apply for the grant on your behalf. The £7,500 grant will be taken off the final price you pay.
 
£450 million will be invested by the government into the Boiler Upgrade Scheme which will be managed by Ofgem. The grants offered will be:  

  • £7,500 - Air source heat pumps (ASHP) & Ground source heat pumps (GSHP)
