A Green Philosophy

To celebrate our 100th birthday in 2021, Mitsubishi Corporation has developed its Vision 2021 which sets out our guiding principles in achieving sustainability in all we do. This vision builds on a long-standing narrative behind our Corporate philosophy in line with our Corporate Strapline of Changes for the Better.

In the UK we have translated this to our Green Gateway approach to show how important it is to reduce energy use in the built environment, and identify just how many solutions and skills already exist.

Educating the next generation

The Learning Curve is an award-winning, inspirational educational programme which aims to teach the energy consumers of tomorrow all about renewable technologies and the importance of energy conservation. Thousands of primary school children have already taken part in The Learning Curve since its launch in the autumn 2011 and in 2014 we created a partnership the Wigan Warriors Foundation Trust.

The Recycling Programme

We have developed a recycling programme for end-of-life air-conditioning units and heating units. In partnership with 3rd party recycling companies this service will give you an easy to use and certificated route for disposal of end of life equipment. At Mitsubishi Electric we are committed to recycling as one of our core corporate commitments within Environmental Vision 2021. This is also reflected in the way we do business within the UK with our Green Gateway.
