Our Philosophy

The Mitsubishi Electric Group's corporate statement, "Changes for the Better", represents our goal and attitude to always strive to achieve "something better", as we continue to change and grow. This goal is based on the founding Three Principles of the company which guide everything we do:

"Shoki Hoko"

A Corporate Responsibility to Society

"Shoji Komei"

Integrity and Fairness in everything we do

"Ritsugyo Boeki"

Increasing Global Understanding through Business

Changes for the Better

This statement promises "to create an ever better tomorrow" for our customers by the initiative of each and every one of our employees, who seek to improve themselves by aiming for "the better", and daily aim to "improve technologies, services and creativity", as stated in our corporate philosophy.

Guiding Principles

Taking definitive action today, to create a greener world tomorrow.

Looking ahead to our 100th anniversary in the year 2021, we aim to become a global, leading green company. We're working toward the creation of a low-carbon, recycling-based society by applying our wide-ranging and advanced technologies, as well as through ongoing actions by our employees.

Environmental Vision 2021 is the long-term environmental management vision of the Mitsubishi Electric Group. The Vision sets 2021 as its target year, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of Mitsubishi Electric's founding.

Environment Awareness

We encourage employees and their families to take part in environmental activities with their communities, and thereby foster environmental awareness. As a responsible corporate citizen, we will also inform the public about our environmental initiatives to promote mutual understanding.

Here in the UK, we encourage staff in our offices to get involved in the 'Count Me In' recycling programme and have developed an award-winning primary school environmental programme called The Learning Curve.
