Continuing its focus on innovation, Mitsubishi Electric has launched a range of groundbreaking Versatile domestic hot water cylinders. These are suitable for both new build and retrofit homes and complement the company’s award-winning energy saving Ecodan residential heat pumps and MELCloud, which allows remote control from a single device in any location.
The easy to install and maintain Versatile cylinders have been engineered for seamless integration and high performance with Mitsubishi Electric’s Ecodan R32 heat pumps. Their high-capacity coil heat exchanger maximises heat transfer and the advanced Mitsubishi Electric controls give the user quality assurance and peace of mind.
Being MELCloud enabled gives users effortless control and monitoring of the product; and with the diverter valve accessory included, installers can look forward to a simplified heating and hot water system solution.
The Versatile cylinders come in slimline (with capacities of 180L and 210L) and standard (with capacities of 210L, 250L and 300L) ranges. This gives flexibility to the user and ensures that the cylinder is not oversized, preventing unnecessary energy consumption, and reducing heating costs. And with quick recovery time, users benefit from a good supply of hot water.
Senior Product Manager, Robert Taylor, who led the team to design and develop the new Versatile cylinder range said: “We are always looking for new and innovative ways to make the deployment of heat pump cylinders easier, to improve efficiency and give peace of mind to households. With the holistic product design and ability for installers to utilise readily available components, we’ve achieved this and expect demand for the product to be high.”
