The installation of Mitsubishi Electric ventilation and air conditioning has helped provide clean, fresh air to a new garden office building for an independent business in Northern Ireland.

Eve Mullan had to set up her nail art business in her garden building at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure her workplace was usable all year round, Eve needed a cost-effective heating, cooling and ventilation solution which would ensure her clients felt comfortable and COVID-safe during their appointments.

Air Cool Engineering NI designed a straightforward and cost-effective solution using an M Series air conditioning system and a Lossnay heat recovery ventilation unit, to deliver perfect creature comfort, whatever the weather.

Using advanced heat pump technology, the M Series wall mounted system efficiently delivers heating and cooling to small and medium sized spaces. The stylish and compact wall mounted unit perfectly suits the room’s decor. Plus, as the M Series only requires a single-phase electricity supply, installation was quick and easy.

“To become more COVID-compliant and to ensure my family and clients are safe at all times, moving my ‘workspace’ into the garden became a priority,” explains Eve.  “As the nail studio is detached from my house, the standalone air conditioning and ventilation system gives me the flexibility to safely extend appointment availability and operate in all weathers too.

The garden studio also benefits from fresh air direct from a wall mounted VL-100EU Lossnay unit which provides heat recovery ventilation to the space. The Lossnay is positioned to serve the working area, providing continuous filtered, fresh air.

“I am confident that with the help of both Air Cool Engineering NI and Mitsubishi Electric, I have all the measures in place to make my business comfortable for myself, my clients and my family”, added Eve Mullan. “After such a long period of lockdown, I’m really looking forward to getting back to work and welcoming my wonderful clients to my new garden studio.”
