With just three weeks to go until elementalLONDON, it’s worth putting the 19th and 20th November in your diary and making sure you have booked your free ticket.
This dedicated event for built environment professionals is aimed at anyone focusing on how to reduce energy use and carbon emissions in commercial and large-scale residential projects.
The event brings together the latest products, innovations, and solutions to help companies deliver on their net zero goals — all under one roof at London’s Excel Centre, which is even easier to get to now that the Elizabeth Line goes straight to Custom House.
As a manufacturer of energy-consuming Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment, we are using the Show to demonstrate our latest, ground-breaking heat pumps and air conditioning, which are designed to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, whilst delivering complete, controllable comfort.

Cutting-edge air conditioning
First up is our new flagship City Multi air conditioning system the R32 YXM VRF range, which has been designed to be our most versatile air conditioning system yet.
The new City Multi R32 VRF YXM range, which is available to specify now and install from next Spring, is available in capacities from 12kW to 113kW, and features our unique, patented 2-pipe heat recovery design that saves on riser space and eases installation by reducing the number of brazing points needed. The system is also simple to design, helping to streamline and shorten the whole process.
Innovative advances include a patented 3-sided, vertical flat tube heat exchanger to save plant space, improve efficiency and ease maintenance. A patented, all-new defrost system and outdoor fan design maximises heating performance and optimises airflow for better system performance, energy efficiency and improved noise levels.
This cutting-edge, EN378 part 3 compliant technology utilises lower GWP R32 refrigerant in a sleek, compact design, offering an innovative solution for businesses committed to achieving net zero carbon goals and reduce their environmental footprint.
With both Heat Pump and Heat Recovery options, the all-new City Multi R32 VRF YXM range redefines energy efficiency, sustainability, and performance in air conditioning for large commercial spaces.
R290 high temperature heating and hot water
Also on our stand will be the cutting edge Ecodan CAHV-Z R290 commercial air source heat pump which provides a robust, low carbon system for the provision of sanitary hot water and space heating.
This latest innovation in our hugely popular Ecodan range utilises R290 refrigerant with an ultra-low GWP of just 0.02 and reduced embodied carbon to help businesses achieve CSR targets.
Each 40kW Ecodan CAHV-Z unit can achieve 75°C outlet temperatures down to -15°C ambient temperatures to deliver year-round continuous heating. The ability to deliver water flow temperatures from 24°C to 75°C without boost heaters helps to deliver both cost and energy savings.
Up to seven units can be combined to offer 280kW capacity in a cascade system that switches individual units on and off and can build in 0.5kW increments of capacity to exactly match the required load demand of a building.
This increases design flexibility and makes the Ecodan CAHV-Z suitable for a wide range of commercial applications including schools, hospitals and university campuses.
Happy Anniversary
Mitsubishi Electric is also using elementalLONDON to focus attention on the award-winning Hybrid VRF air conditioning system which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and now includes a vertical Hybrid Branch Controller (HBC) to offer even more flexibility of design and operation.
This unique air conditioning system is now even more relevant to the construction industry because it addresses today’s carbon reduction demands and helps significantly reduce the amount of refrigerant inside buildings.
It does this by using water to transfer heating and cooling from the HBC box to where it is needed, thereby limiting refrigerant between the outdoor compressor and the HBC.
This not only means that MLCP barriers plastic piping can be used throughout the building, reducing the need for any brazing, it also removes the need for expensive leak detection equipment and the expense of annual leak detector maintenance
You can learn more about all of these products in person from our experts at the Show so why not take a moment to register now and we look forward to seeing you there.
