Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems
This level 3 award has been developed in association with the Heat Pump Association, industry and the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), specifically for professional from a heating background. The course will provide you with the knowledge, skills and competency required in the form of a nationally recognised qualification. demonstrating the installation and maintenance of a heat pump system.
Level 3 Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems in Dwellings Qualification (LTHW)
Certified by the LCL Awards and Ofqual accredited to industry led standards, the Level 3 Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water systems in Dwellings course has been designed by the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE),and the Heat Pump Association with the help of their members to upskill professionals in both the design and install of low temperature heating systems.

Pre-requisites and Entry Requirements
An Initial Assessment will be conducted on application for the qualification to determine your capability to complete the qualification.
To enroll on to the course you must already hold a valid WRAS Water Regulations / Water Byelaws equivalent, and hold one of the following qualifications:
N/SVQ Level 2/3 in :

- Plumbing or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence;
- Heating and Ventilating (Domestic Installation) or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence;
- Heating and Ventilating (Industrial and Commercial Installation) or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence;
- Oil-Fired Technical Services or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence;
- Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence.
- Heating installers with experience installing wet central heating systems, evidenced either by manufacturer courses certification or Gas Safe Register, OFTEC, MCS or HETAS registration
Terms and Conditions

- To receive the discount and training offer both courses must be booked at the same time and must be completed by the 30th April 2025
- The Government grant is based on eligibility, please speak to a member of the team to check if you qualify
- All Mitsubishi manufacturer training must be booked and completed by the end of 2025
The Heat pump course is £525, the Low Temperature and Hot Water course is £300 as stand alone prices but as a combined Package Deal the cost is £600, but if you are eligible for the grant then you just pay the £100
Partners can utilise the RDF fund against the full cost of the course or part payment if they full within the eligible criteria for the grant.
