A new infographic from Mitsubishi Electric highlights the benefits of adopting a Hybrid approach to VRF (variable refrigerant flow) air conditioning.

Hybrid VRF uses water throughout the majority of the system to transfer simultaneous heating and cooling to different rooms yet still offers two-pipe heat recovery, lower annual maintenance costs and the full flexibility of design and operation that the company’s systems are synonymous for.

“Legislation is starting to demand that leak detection equipment is installed alongside VRF air conditioning and this calls for additional equipment costs as well higher maintenance bills”, explains Mark Grayston on behalf of the company.

“This new system does away with the need for leak detection whilst also delivering higher sensible cooling throughout the building”.
